I have a question and please don’t kill me, do you come up with these poems because you put messages and references in them or do you just write them cause it sounds cool? If I ever do poetry, I only think about the rhymes and it all ends up not making any sense lol 😛

sorry to but in but i think this poem is so meaningful? i kinda interpret it as someone who has lot touch with happiness, and what they used to love and who they are and they feel trapped by these dark thoughts. i think it’s beautiful. i think rhymes are good but not when they make the poem start to lose meaning. ❤

to be honest, poetry is free to all sorts of interpretations. it depends what sort of imagery you conjure up from it, and how you perceive the words x no one way to view the wordsss

Ilsa! your interpretation are always SO welcome. you always leave such deep lovely comments on my work. thank you for this and i agree…personally i find it so hard to write a meaningful poem with rhymes…but some poets are just so fabulous and do so fabulously.

ahaha ask away without fear my darling! i just write the poems when i have a message, emotion or experience to convey. the words kind of tumble out and i break the lines up how my mind sees it. i don’t think i’ve ever successfully written a rhyming poem aha but would love to one day!
