Playlist: Winter Vibes ft Marioness

Hello everyone!

Today’s collaboration post is featuring the wonderful Marioness (can we all just take a moment to appreciate the name) and we shall be discussing our Christmas playlists because whether we celebrate Christmas or not, the music with the jingle bells and melodic tinkering makes us all excited for snow and of course the much awaited break from school!

So the idea behind this post is that I will put together a Christmas playlist based on songs I have grown up to surrounding the Christmas countdown, and then my wonderful friend Marioness will answer some questions I have for her. Enjoy!

Questions:

1) What would you name this playlist in your phone?

I would either name this playlist Christmas All Around, Christmas is Coming or Winter Vibes!

2) Which song from the playlist is your favourite?

I really like the fourth and fifth song, but I have to say that I haven’t heard all of these songs before. I mean maybe I have, and it might be me just being unable to recognise the song title.

3) Which song would you remove and why?

I wouldn’t remove any. All the festive/Christmas songs are welcome!!

4) What is a song you would add to the list and why?

I would add a few traditional Catalan songs, maybe some pop versions, in order to make this playlist feel at home.

5) Which do you prefer, traditional carols or pop remixes?

Honestly, I don’t mind. I like everything that is festive, and of good quality.

7) How do festive songs make you feel?

They make me feel so cosy, and it fills me up with happiness. It also reminds me of family, home…

8) What is a Christmas song you like to play on repeat?

Probably Last Christmas or Santa Tell me by Ariana Grande.

9) What makes a festive song festive in your opinion?

I think it’s gotta be the melody. They all have a special melody that makes me feel so Christmassy!
