Dear Reader

Dear reader,

To all the bullies out there, who take pleasure in intimidation and crippling someone’s life up, if you’re filled with anguish at yourself or your life, who gave you the right to ruin someone else’s? One would only imagine you would be able to empathise with your victim.

To the strong warriors surviving wavelengths of torment, know that if you are labeled as different, it doesn’t set you apart from the rest. Instead, it makes you special. It makes you unique. Different is good . It gives you an identity. Not an empty shell.

Stand tall and brave, proud and acknowledge the fact that a bullies game is to break you down. DON’T accept the taunts. The more they repeat it, the more you should realise they’ve become desperate enough to not actually be able to find a fault within you.

You aren’t perfect but you are damn close enough. Wipe those tears away, crumple the fear down so it can’t bounce back up.

Block the people who put you down everywhere.

Report them. It’s one less bully in the world, and you’ve just saved another soon to be victim target.

Surround yourself with people that make you feel loved.

Listen to what I’m saying. You are not fat nor skinny. You are not stupid nor a geek, ugly, or fake. You are you – a girl/boy who has so much courage to get through every second of every hour of every day. Don’t let what anyone else get to your mind, to convince you that they are right because they are not. They are wrong.

You are loved and one day your bully will realise the cruelty of their ways. Until then carry on being the strong brave person you are.

And if you happen to be a bully, have a change of heart. Your words act like poison; they seep in deeply and slither around. It slowly kills you. Day by day until one day your victim is struggling to  breathe their last breath. Your actions have consequences. There is no rewind button in life so think before you act. Nobody appreciates the damage you do, but you will earn yourself a lot more respect if you stop.

You’re all beautiful to me, chin up, and hold your head up high. You have a lot to live for so make the most of it whilst you can.

Take care

Hello love. How are you doing today. Good I hope.
The piece you’ve written here is a piece of art. I went through your home page, it says you are just 16? Damn. You’re talented.
You see love, I agree with you. Everything and everyone we see around us, have these metaphorical walls all around them. We are what society dictates us to be.
Amidst all the chatter we lose ourselves and our identities.
Each and everyone is special in their own way. Each and everyone matters. Every story matters. I am glad I stumbled upon this piece.
Take care and have a great day. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hey there, I’m doing well thank you. And you?
I just want to say thank you so much for beginning my day with a massive smile. The effort you put into your comment as a response to my post means a lot to me so thank you.
Yep, I am 16 and thank you so much, that is very kind of you to say so, though I would disagree and say there are many more talented bloggers out here.

I agree, these tall walls we build help hide our identities. I love how you’ve expressed your thoughts.

Thank you once again! Keep smiling

P.S I stopped by your blog and read some posts offline – what you have set up is amazing. The best of luck ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
